Lori’s Story (2005) – Dear Friend, Blessings of peace and grace to you. I am 50 years old. I am now living a very happy life. Without going into the details, I can tell you that I have been severely depressed for so many years. As I look back a few months, I would call myself a functioning depressed person. I could go about my daily activities appearing to be fine, but inside I was ready to kill myself. I hated my life. I just wanted to die! Death could not come soon enough for me. There were days where I could not even get out of bed or leave the house. I felt hopelessness, despair, sadness and apathy. Overall I felt gloom. I had no will power. I had started to lose my perspective on life, on my work, and my family…(More)

Deborah’s Story (2015) – Almost 4yrs ago, on the rebound of a broken marriage. I felt I was starting a new chapter in my life in a new country with a man I had fallen in love with and then married.
On reflection it had been a very brief courtship and on the day we married his personality immediately appeared to change.
He became extremely angry, moody, abusive and at times threatening and violent to me. I knew he had problems, but did not know the extent of them or the possible repercussions…(More)

Kimberly’s Story (2020) – 2020 has been a very hard year not only with corona-virus, but my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer in July. My dad took a leave of absence from his job to help take care of her & help me. I have had ongoing health issues from a genetic disorder. I also had major complications from a surgery 3 years ago, causing nerve damage leading to other issues, doctors & therapies. My dad then lost his job taking care of us both. I kind of fell upon Victory Tips when I called for prayer for my mom & then was told about the group. It was a divine appointment…(More)

Sarah’s Story (2015) – I found Victory Tips through a telephone prayer line, he was my last hope, I had called every single prayer line listed on the Internet and prayed with thousands of them. My husband of 14 years (17 years of being together ) had kicked me out and had replaced me with a girlfriend half his age we have three children we had a beautiful farm everyone thought we were as in love as I thought we were , it crushed me . I have been through a lot of heartache in my life but my husband was my rock my foundation and when I was left without him I thought I could not go on…(More)

Suzanne’s Story (2007) – I was born into a family of ten children. I am the seventh daughter and the eighth child. My parents occasionally told my birth story in which my father drove my mother and seven siblings to the hospital. When my birth was announced my brother and sisters reportedly groaned “another girl!” My family thought it was hilarious but I didn’t.
As a young child I was happy – a tomboy who liked to climb trees. Once I started school, however, the happy times ended. I was crammed into a classroom with 70 others. Order was king. My first grade nun was strict but fair; my second grade teacher was sadistic…(More)

Maddie’s Story (2020) – Victory Tips has breathed new life into me after I spent too many years suffocating from anxiety and depression. I attended my first meeting when I was at my wit’s end, having panic attacks every day and barely sleeping. Only one week into the program, I was completely free from anxiety and depression. The program has given me the courage to pursue opportunities I never would have before, such as singing a solo in my home church. The program is simple. All it requires is that you show up, listen and be open to growing in your relationship with God. My relationship with God is stronger than ever and I am grateful for the friendships I made in this program. Start the program and watch miracles happen in your life. I think you’re going to be amazed.

Beth’s Story (2007) – I grew up in an abusive household where there was physical, emotional and sexual abuse. I have two sisters and one brother. I was beaten several times throughout my childhood. And this was at the hands of my father who was considered a pillar in the community. We had to uphold a front due to his “impeccable” reputation. I don’t remember much of anything of my life up through age 10 or maybe even later.
Three vivid experiences do stick in my mind however: 1) A fight between my sister and my father where each had a pair of scissors in their hands and were threatening to kill each other and I got in the middle of them and …(More)

David’s Story (2019) – As I explored churches over a period of some 42 years, I was amazed that in the face of the Great Commission, the practical value of making disciples was nearly totally absent. Searching for something to fill that gap in my life I turned to the Victory Tips program. There I found that in the context of the lesson was how to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. The Great Commission must be completed, and discipleship is the first step. “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).” In His love and Service.”

Hope’s Story (2017) – My life has been hard but I now thank God for the trials in my life as I have learned how much our Father loves all of us.
This journey started 57 years ago. I’m the oldest of 7 children and we all have different fathers. Life was chaotic as a kid; it was filled with domestic abuse and rage. And my mother never showed any affection or love. The man I called, “Dad” finally moved away. I was relieved but there was no way to be prepared for what was coming next.
I grew up Catholic. I was sent to church to get me out of the house. I read the Bible ferociously. I read how God loves us and I wanted that love…(More)

Lindsay’s Story (2006) – While growing up, I didn’t have the ideal family. It was strict and dysfunctional. My father had a very hot temper, especially toward my two sisters who rebelled. My oldest brother went camping for days at a time. Our father didn’t have much to do with our adopted brother with Cerebral Palsey. Our father didn’t treat our mother with any respect. My mother was very loving, caring and very strict. She now can admit it and is very sorry. She raised us as she was raised. Anyway, I became submissive. I didn’t want what the other kids were getting. My sisters, who rebelled one way or another considered me a Miss Goody two-shoes.

Marie’s Story (2006) – I have lived with fear almost my whole life. Almost as long as I can remember, I was scared of the “things” that were under the bed and that were “watching” me whenever I was in the house alone. I lived in a big old farmhouse up on a windy hill and I was the youngest and was left alone a lot. Because of that, I spent as much time as I could outside with the animals and with my dad out in the barn. I loved that. I was really shy, but out there it didn’t matter. With me not able to attend the same school as my church friends, my loneliness persisted and my first suicide attempt…(More)

Vince’s Story – I was born into a large family, the eldest of 7 boys. We were an immigrant family so we never had the benefit of associating with a lot of aunts, uncles and grandparents. This is important because you get a better understanding of life if you associate with successful people in your immediate family.
I grew up with a lot of fears. I stuttered. Until Grade 4, when I spoke with adults all that would come out was a loud whisper. In Grade 2, I found out I was different. My looks became the subject of kids teasing. Then when they found out I stuttered, they teased me about that. I also found out in…(More)

Catherine’s Story (2015) – I don’t know of anything else that could of helped me through such sorrow as well as this Holy Spirit led program. Victory Tips is amazing. Because of their dedication and diligence this program lifted me to a higher place in my Christian walk and pulled me out of the loneliness of depression. Much restoration in my family and a closer relationship with Our Lord.
