Victory Tips is a parachurch organization. We assist churches in developing their church members to be emotionally strong and vibrant helpers in their local church. Here is how we serve a local church:

1) We can help you start a weekly Victory Tips group at your church. We see Victory Tips as a great tool for a local church.

• It helps bring healing to existing church members.
• It is a great church growth tool. Mental illness has become a serious problem in society. When a church shows a neighbourhood that they have a program that addresses mental health, people might visit the church to see if the program could help them. If it does help, then a church will likely have gained a new member for their congregation.

2) If a church member is going through a serious bout with anxiety or depression, that person would benefit from daily interaction with strong Christians while they wait to go to their weekly or bi-weekly counseling appointments. Victory Tips can be a spiritual connection 24 hours a day for that person so they never feel overwhelmed during their recovery.

3) Some church members have a deep desire to make a difference in their community. Victory Tips will train church members to be effective peer support workers. Peer Support is a fast growing sector in mental health treatment. A church member will be on the front lines helping people make their way toward lasting healing from anxiety, depression and addictions. This can be done as an in-person visit or a telephone call.

4) Victory Tips gives people an opportunity to volunteer as a conference call leader. This can be done from home. All they need is a smart phone or a computer with internet. We will train them. People can make a huge impact from the comfort of their own homes!

5) Victory Tips can help churches fill their home groups. If churches tell us the location of their home groups, and people contact us for support, we can tell them where and when there is a home group meeting close to them.

6) Victory Tips knows of other Bible-based programs that can help a church have maximum impact in their community.

7) Victory Tips can help you advertise your church events. At a cost of only $30, Victory Tips will create a small display ad announcing your next event. We will also mention the events during our 24 hour conference calls.

8) Some churches have a core value of helping people in less developed countries of the world. When you partner with Victory Tips your donations and services purchased go toward feeding and clothing the less fortunate in poorer countries. Did you know that $300 US a month can pay the rent of a building and pay for a pastors monthly salary so he can focus on doing ministry? 9) Many church members own businesses. Victory Tips helps business owners reach a targeted population at a fraction of other advertising methods, and with the added benefit of their purchases helping people in need.

10) Victory Tips provides mental health support for people at various age groups. We have a special emphasis toward youth and people in their 20’s since those are the age groups where mental illness often first become evident. We believe that if we can help a person find healing in their early years, they are more apt to live the rest of their lives in peace and happiness.

11) Victory Tips helps reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness. All of our workers speak openly about facets of anxiety, depression and addictions. There is no shame in it. 

12) Victory Tips can provide a guest speaker if a church wants to host a service or conference related to mental health.
