Our vision is for each city and town to have their own Victory Team. Their task is to start Victory Tips groups in their area. They could be morning groups, evening groups, after-school groups, groups in seniors homes, groups in common rooms in apartment buildings, groups in prisons, any where that people reside or gather. This is your chance to become a ‘local hero’ by starting a group that brings hope and life to people who struggle. Life was meant to be fun and productive. Your new group can be used by God to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Victory Teams offer churches Victory Church Services. They may be in place of a morning worship service, or a special service on a Sunday evening or some other time during the week. The service will have uplifting songs of victory as well as an inspiring message of faith that leads people toward living a life with boldness and belief that Jesus is able and willing to do miracles in our day as He did 2,000 years ago. For this endeavour, we will be needing people who are gifted in music as well as preaching. Victory Teams will bring back the 6pm church service. For decades many churches had an additional service on Sunday’s, usually at 6pm. Over the last 20 years churches began eliminating the 6pm service. A Victory Team would be responsible for working with a church in a central location to once again offer the community a Sunday evening 6pm service. It would be evangelistic in nature, and offer alter services at the end so people could press in for more of God in their lives. There would be prayers for healings, and prayers for healing from demonic influences. Everyone would come with an expectation that God would move in a powerful way so all of people’s needs would get met.
Victory Teams will provide the community a study centre, open 7 days a week so people can develop their faith by knowledge of the Bible, and learn how it helps people transform into wonderful new individuals. Changed by the Lord Jesus Christ. It will be a Transformation Centre! “We are being transformed into His likeness with ever increasing glory.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
Victory Teams will train 2-person teams who can visit people in their homes (or in a public location) and help them practice daily Christian disciplines. Nobody will be stuck traveling the Christian road alone without hope.
Victory Teams will host a local online radio station playing top-notch victorious music that energies their listeners and propels them forward each day of their lives. It will also broadcast clips of people’s stories recounting how Christ transformed their lives. As well, it will also be a resource for churches who can freely list their church events.
Victory Teams will also host a local podcast that interviews church leaders as well as people who have been helped by God in overcoming their life challenges.
Victory Teams will also publish a monthly newsletter high-lighting all the great things God is doing in their local community.
Victory Teams will pray for revival. Our economy has been hit hard lately. A weak economy means there are more impoverished hurting people around us. We must pray. As serious as this is, something more important is happening. Our moral foundation is crumbling away more quickly now than ever before. Sin is causing untold suffering. We must pray for revival. It’s on us to seek God more than ever for His Holy Spirit to move in our land. Join us as we pray. God moved in a remarkable way 120 years ago during the 1906 Azuza St. Revival. These are big endeavours and will require every believer to do their part in helping them come to fruition.
