A Lead Donor for Victory Tips is someone who collects donations to help support a church in a 3rd world country. They agree to collect funds from family, friends or community members in the amount of $300 USD per month for a 12 month time period. Lead Donors can select a church from a list of approved churches on our website, or they can suggest a church.

We selected $300 because this is the amount it costs to pay for a church building rental, a pastors monthly salary and some food money for the congregants. Beyond these costs, the Lead Donor might want to raise other amounts such the cost of the purchase of soccer balls and volleyballs for youth, along with jerseys, shorts, socks and running shoes so they can compete with other teams in their community. These amount to approx $700 USD.

2) Lead Donors have same-day telephone access to the pastor of the church they are supporting. Pastors are very appreciative of their Lead Donors and are happy to take phone calls from them.

3) Lead Donors have access to live streaming of webcam’s running at the church they are supporting. Victory Tips churches have a goal to be open 24 hours a day, thus their will be activity to watch whenever they log on to the channel. As well, the webcams make it easy to show your donors exactly what their contributions are doing to help people.

4) Lead Donors can elect to become a board member of the church they sponsor. This is valuable experience as they watch professional people plan new outreach strategies, or resolve delicate issues facing a church.

5) Lead Donors have the opportunity to make a lot of new friends. Whether it is everyone on the leadership team or just regular church members, the opportunities abound to enlarge their social circle!

6) Lead Donors have the pleasure of knowing they are helping resolve a serious life problem – poverty, which is very close to the Heart of God. The term Poor is used 178 times in scripture, many of those times are directives to reach out and help the poor.
