Program Description

The ‘Don’t-Eat-Alone’ Program came about as we tried to find ways to feed poor people in 3rd world countries. It occurred to us that $10 could feed 5 people where we are in Lusaka, Zambia. Then it occurred to us that most people don’t like eating alone. So, now there is this program where people in Canada or the US can pay $10 and within an hour or so we can set up a table with food for 5 poor people and for the translator. Thus, when the meal begins, the donor can get to know who the 5 people are they are helping. It can be an uplifting event for both parties. So, Don’t Eat Alone!
